HM Contracting

HM Contracting is a roofing contractor in Dover, NJ. The company handles roofing and gutter installation for homeowners throughout Morris County, including Boonton, Denville, Morristown, Parsippany, Randolph, Rockaway, Wharton and other nearby communities. With more than 20 years of experience in the area, HM Contracting is fully insured and licensed under New Jersey contractor number 13VH08385700, and the team is covered by a Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Policy with State Farm.

Founded by Henry Martinez in 1994, HM Contracting runs a five-stage process for each project: consultation, preparation, removal, installation and cleanup. During the consultation, an HM Contracting designer meets the homeowner, reviews previous local work, and helps select roofing swatches that match the house. Preparation covers pulling the township permit, arranging the dumpster and ordering materials. Removal begins with tarping the front and back of the home to protect the property, followed by the tear-off and installation of the new roofing and gutters. Cleanup includes debris removal, sweeping and a magnetic sweep of the yard for nails before the dumpster is hauled away. The company owns its own professional equipment and brings it to every job.

The office sits on Grant Street, a short walk from Prospect Street and about 0.4 miles from Academy Street Elementary School, the Dover Little Theatre and West Blackwell Street.

HM Contracting holds a 4.90 rating from its customers, reflecting a strong reputation built over two decades of roofing and gutter work across Morris County.
