The shop is owned and operated by Elisangela, a native of Brazil who began grooming in her home country more than twenty years ago, well before arriving in the United States in 1999. Since then she has groomed thousands of pets and continues to stay current with industry trends and standards. Her interest in animals stretches back to childhood, when she would feed and bathe stray dogs near her home. She is knowledgeable in all breed standards, pays close attention to individual client requests, and is especially skilled at grooming Poodles and Bichons. Elisangela has competed in Intergroom and in the Double K Challenge Ultimate Groomer (Rags to Riches 2012), taking first place. She is dedicated to keeping every pet comfortable, safe, and happy during the visit, and the staff practices gentle, compassionate handling techniques in a clean, calm environment to ensure a stress-free experience. In addition to English, the team speaks Portuguese and Spanish.

The shop sits on Marlton Pike, a short walk from the William G. Rohrer Center and Camden County College's Rohrer Center, both roughly a tenth of a mile away. Springdale Road and Greentree Road are each within the same short distance, and the South Jersey Health and Wellness Center is about a third of a mile from the door.

With a 4.70 rating built on positive feedback from the customers who have reviewed it, Pawllywood Grooming Cherry Hill reflects two decades of hands-on experience under a groomer whose competition results and breed expertise set the tone for the Cherry Hill location.
