Our Family Practice

Our Family Practice is a doctor's office in Brick, NJ, providing primary care for children, adults, and seniors. The practice handles medication refills, medical appointments, and specialist referrals through its patient portal, and its doctors are available around the clock by phone for patients who need urgent advice or help getting emergency care.

Doctors in the office have been treating Jersey Shore neighbors for over four decades. Babies delivered by founder Dr. Richard Kellner continue to see the practice as adults today, and caring and continuity are described as the cornerstones of the practice. By tending to the entire family, from grandchildren to great-grandparents, the physicians aim to understand each patient individually, treating the whole person rather than just the problem at hand.

The office serves as a training site for Ocean Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency Program and the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, and Michelle McNicholas NP is an adjunct nursing instructor at Brookdale Community College. All physicians are board certified in Family Practice, and all of them perform pap smears in the office. Vaccinations are available for any vaccination a child may need for school and most needed for travel. The practice has extensive testing equipment and is listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration National Registry, so it can perform CDL, Coast Guard, and pre-employment physical exams. Many minor surgical procedures are done in the office, and a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetic Educator visits four days a week to counsel patients on diabetes and weight loss. New patients are asked to visit the patient portal and complete a patient information sheet before their first appointment.
