Founded by Stephen Huntoon after ten years working for a large New England fence company, New England Cedar Fence began in a garage and has since grown into a design-oriented operation focused on fences that are aesthetically appealing, visually balanced, and built to last decades with little care. Huntoon previously appeared as a spokesperson on PBS's This Old House and The Victory. Traditional picket fences use rectangular mortise and tenon construction, and privacy fences are custom designed and professionally pre-stained. The company runs a large manufacturing facility in Seabrook, NH, just off Exit 1 on I-95, where crews produce all of their own fences. They offer a three-year limited workmanship warranty on installations.

The company began taking on repair work after repeatedly hearing from homeowners that no one else would help, and they now treat every repair job with the same care as their custom installations. They also maintain a second location in Wellesley Hills, MA, and offer professional finishing and delivery in addition to local installation.

After more than fifteen years building and maintaining quality fences across New England, New England Cedar Fence has built a reputation for craftsmanship that treats each fence as functional artwork, combining custom design with durable construction for properties in Portsmouth and throughout the region.
