The company describes its approach as consultative: it builds a customized strategy for each client, digging into both company culture and the specific skills and traits a placement requires, then drawing on its recruiting network to source candidates. A high percentage of its business is time-and-materials, purchase order, and statement-of-work driven contract services for large organizations across the United States. Market Street Talent is a WBENC and WOSB-certified Women Owned Small Business, and clients are paired with an Account Executive who acts as their sole point of contact. The firm states it remains engaged with companies and candidates after a successful placement.

The office sits on Maplewood Ave in Portsmouth's North End, about 0.1 miles from the North End neighborhood. The Moffatt-Ladd House Museum and North Mill Pond Park are both roughly 0.2 miles away, as are Market Street, a historic Young Men's Christian Association building, and the Isles of Shoals Steamship Company ferry terminal.

Market Street Talent has served the technology and digital marketing recruitment field since 2008, pairing deep IT industry knowledge with a certified women-owned business status that few staffing agencies in Portsmouth can match.
