The company's approach centers on communication and client involvement. Project managers and the landscape maintenance team keep clients informed throughout a project, and the company uses software-driven management tools to set expectations and improve production efficiency. In design-build work, clients are partners in the process from the beginning, and the finished landscape reflects their input. Trimmers Landscaping also applies landscape management practices intended to work with the natural world, benefiting the environment while controlling costs.

Its Water Smart irrigation program covers system audits, spring startups and fall blowouts, seasonal calibration, water-saving technology upgrades, irrigation repairs, and town or city water metering. Wi-Fi remote monitoring allows the team to detect leaks and address them remotely. Irrigation design begins with a site consultation that considers a yard's micro-climate, including sun and shade, turf condition, and the location of trees and shrubs, along with water pressure and flow rate. For clients on private wells, the company checks well capacity before designing a system. Weekly mowing services include trash pickup, trimming, and blowing, and maintenance foremen document concerns with photos and site inspection reports.

The business is located on Aviation Park Dr in Londonderry, about half a mile from the WFEA-AM tower and Little Cohas Brook, and roughly a mile from Little Cohas Brook Reservoir, Little Cohas Marsh, and Londonderry Fire & Rescue Station One.

Trimmers Landscaping has earned a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting more than two decades of landscape design, irrigation, and maintenance work in and around Londonderry.
