The Learning Tree

The Learning Tree is a preschool in Londonderry, NH, caring for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old at its facility on Young Road. Families can reach the center by phone, fax, or email to arrange tours of the newly renovated space. The Learning Tree holds a rating of 4.10 from the families who have reviewed it.

The Learning Tree Early Education Center is a family-run business that was established in 2016 by Katlyn Brutus-McKenzie, Michelle Brutus, and Nicole Pooler, three teachers who had worked together for many years before fulfilling their dream of opening a childcare center. Collectively, the administrative team brings over 50 years of experience in childcare to the center. The center also operates a second location called The Learning Tree Too.

The center's curriculum pairs the fundamentals of education with childhood play and imagination, using enriched programs and hands-on activities. Children are encouraged to explore their environment, work as a team to problem-solve, and learn to respect others and the world around them. Daily activities focus on cognitive development, gross and fine motor skills, and sensory motor learning, with the belief that children learn best by doing and actively discovering their surroundings. The Learning Tree partners with families to build each child's social, emotional, and cognitive abilities, with the goal of helping children grow into productive members of society while making happy memories along the way. The center has also partnered with Child Care Aware of New Hampshire on Emergency Operation Planning, contributing to the development of safety plans used by early childhood education centers across the state.

As a locally owned preschool in Londonderry, The Learning Tree draws on more than five decades of combined childcare experience to serve families with young children in the community.
