Creative Lighting Designs

Creative Lighting Designs is an interior designer in Lebanon, NH, providing the Upper Valley with lighting and home accents through a by-appointment showroom and a team-based approach to residential lighting design. The firm serves homeowners, contractors, and architects, offering project design services that include blueprint planning assistance, site visits, and in-store consultations, as well as expertise in LED lighting, whole house lighting systems, and landscape lighting. Its consulting staff works with clients to plan and select fixtures for new construction and renovation projects. Creative Lighting Designs holds a rating of 3.70 based on available customer feedback.

The business was started in the spring of 2005 by Brian Horan, who brought years of prior lighting industry experience to his own showroom. Horan first opened in a building across the street from Simon Pearce in Quechee, VT, where he outfitted a space with a broad range of fixtures that quickly drew attention in the area. As the showroom grew, he relocated to a new building under construction in New Hampshire, which became the current Rivermill Building location at 85 Mechanic Street. Design services at the showroom are aimed at bringing together the homeowner, the contractor, and the Creative Lighting Designs team to plan lighting environments from the blueprint stage through installation.

The showroom sits in the Rivermill Commercial Center on Mechanic Street, about a tenth of a mile from the Mascoma River and a short walk from the Ticknor Property nature preserve. Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is roughly four tenths of a mile away, and the Pest House historic ruins are within half a mile. Mechanic Street and Mascoma Street are the main roads running through this part of Lebanon.

Founded by a lighting professional with two decades in the trade, Creative Lighting Designs operates one of the few dedicated lighting showrooms in the Upper Valley, combining residential design consultation with deep product knowledge for homeowners, contractors, and architects in the Lebanon area.
