Omaha Car Care

Omaha Car Care is an auto repair shop in Omaha, NE. The business provides engine repair and diagnostics, brake service, steering and suspension work, factory scheduled maintenance, fluid maintenance, heating and air conditioning service, and starting and charging services, along with tire rotations and road trip check-ups. ASE-certified technicians handle the repairs across all four Omaha locations. The shop at 13102 W Dodge Rd operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and serves customers across the Omaha metro area, which has helped it earn a rating of 4.40 from 154 reviews.

The business traces back to 1970, when it began as a muffler shop at 84th and L in Omaha and has since grown into four locations across the city. While muffler work remains part of the lineup, ASE-certified technicians now service any vehicle. The owners are Rick Bettger and Tim Garnett. Rick, a lifelong Omahan, purchased his father's three muffler shops in 2001 and has served on the CUES Fund Board of Directors for twelve years. Tim began working at Omaha Car Care at the age of 22 and, twenty-five years later, has earned his way into ownership. The shop runs a fleet of free loaner cars so customers can keep moving while their vehicle is being serviced.

With four locations across the Omaha metro and more than five decades of continuous operation, Omaha Car Care has built the kind of long-term presence in the city that few other independent auto repair shops can match.
