Arctic Audio of West Fargo

Arctic Audio of West Fargo is a home theater installer in West Fargo, ND. The company designs and installs whole-house audio and video systems, home theaters, high-performance music systems, home automation, lighting and shading, and security systems for clients in Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding region. Founded in 2004 by audio expert Rod Shafer, Arctic Audio has specialized in high-performance A/V systems for more than 20 years. Its work includes 127 miles of wire installed and 1 million miles traveled. It holds a rating of 4.00 from the customers who have reviewed it.

Arctic Audio's approach begins with the client. The company works with each client to define their environment and audio preferences before making any recommendation, and it will recommend only what suits a client's situation, even if that means sending them elsewhere. As professional audio and home theater consultants, the team continually auditions new equipment lines, selecting components for how well they work across many different lines and how well they perform when matched together. Clients can demonstrate equipment in their own home, and whether the project is an entirely new system or individual pieces added to an existing one, they get a test drive before committing.

The team includes founder Rod Shafer, who started Arctic Audio out of his basement and grew the shop around his passion for sound; Mason Kuhn, who works on the installation crew and helps clients find products; and Justin Escher, the project manager who leads custom installation projects. The process follows three steps: assess the project, architect the solution, and activate the vision. Clients can visit the showroom at 3045 Main Ave to explore options for an audio/video project.

The business sits on Main Avenue, about 0.4 miles from Westside Station and roughly 0.7 miles from the Fargo Police Department and the Fargo Public Works Admin Building. The 25th Street North and 25th Street South corridors are each about 0.6 miles away.

Arctic Audio's rating reflects the customers who have reviewed it, and its two decades of A/V work in Fargo-Moorhead give West Fargo homeowners a local source for home theater and whole-house audio design.
