Dr. Jongeward was born and raised in North Dakota, attended UND in Grand Forks, and then Northwestern College of Chiropractic. After his schooling and externship, he returned to Grand Forks to establish ChiroCenter One. His approach is built on treating patients the way he would want his own chiropractor to treat him, which means on-time, budget friendly care aimed at helping patients find relief and live more comfortably. Chiropractic evaluation here relies mostly on a thorough history and a hands-on evaluation, with occasional x-rays to aid in diagnosis. Because of his experience with a wide variety of symptoms and ailments, Dr. Jongeward does not find the need to do x-rays routinely or to incorporate routine additional therapies outside of traditional chiropractic adjustments, which saves patients time and reduces the cost of continued care. When a problem or medical condition would not benefit from chiropractic treatment, the practice can provide a referral to an appropriate healthcare professional.

The office sits on 17th Ave S, about 0.2 miles from South Columbia Road, with Oxford Park and Lions Park both roughly 0.3 miles away. Altru Hospital is about 0.4 miles from the practice, Century Elementary School Grounds about 0.5 miles, and English Coulee about 0.6 miles.

ChiroCenter One was voted "Best Chiropractor" by Grand Forks Herald readers in 2014 and 2015, was runner-up in 2016 and 2017, and won again in 2022 and 2023 in the Best of Greater Grand Forks.
