A2Z Trucking Academy

A2Z Trucking Academy is a trucking company in Wilson, NC, that operates as a commercial truck driving school. It trains students for Class A and Class B commercial driver's licenses, along with a passenger endorsement for those seeking to operate buses and other passenger-carrying vehicles. The school serves aspiring CDL holders throughout North Carolina and holds a rating of 4.70 based on reviews from its students.

The school is DMV Certified and backed by more than 20 years of combined training experience. Its 160-hour training course breaks down into 50 hours of classroom instruction, 50 hours of range and skills training, and 60 hours of over-the-road driving and observation. Full-time classes run Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 6 pm, with part-time Saturday sessions and flexible scheduling available for students who cannot attend full days. To enroll, students must be at least 18 for intrastate driving or 21 for interstate, hold a valid driver's license in their state of residence, and pass a DOT physical and drug test; a CDL learner's permit is not required to begin. Tuition covers classroom training with books and materials, skills and range training, over-the-road training, the three-part final CDL skills test, the DOT physical and drug screen, the motor vehicle record, a CDL diploma, and ELDT-approved provider status through the FMCSA. Training is delivered on top-of-the-line equipment by experienced instructors, and students have cited job placement assistance as a meaningful part of the program.

The school sits on US-301, about 0.3 miles from the Wiggins Mill Water Treatment Plant, roughly 0.5 miles from Forest Hills Road Southwest, and around 0.8 miles from Wiggins Mill Park.

A2Z Trucking Academy has built a record in Wilson through experienced instructors, modern equipment, and a structured 160-hour curriculum that prepares students for both Class A and Class B licensure.
