2 Families Oil

2 Families Oil is an oil change and automotive service business in Wilson, NC, with additional locations in Ardmore, OK, and Candler, NC. The shop provides oil changes, state inspections, fluid level checks, filter replacement, lighting service, wiper blade service, and oil and fuel treatment filters. Oil changes include new oil, new oil filters, tire pressure checks, fluid and filter checks, washer fluid top-off, and an oil light reset, along with loyalty rewards. State inspections are offered at the Wilson and Candler locations, where certified inspectors check emissions, safety features, brakes, and lights. The business is family-owned and draws on five decades of industry experience. It holds a rating of 4.90 from customer reviews.

The shop's oil change service is built around a stay-in-your-vehicle process, so customers can remain in their cars while certified technicians complete the work. No appointment is needed. Technicians use premium oils suited to a range of vehicles, and the team checks engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and power steering during fluid level checks, looking at fluid quality and signs of leaks or contamination rather than levels alone. Filter replacement covers both engine and cabin filters. The shop states that it does not upsell, explaining findings and recommending next steps instead. Military and first responder discounts are available. Wilson hours are Monday through Friday 8AM to 6PM and Saturday 8AM to 4PM, closed Sunday.

The Wilson location sits on Nash Street North, near its junction with Lake Wilson Road and Nash Street Northwest. Hominy Swamp is about half a mile away, and Merrimont Park is roughly a mile from the shop. The Westmoreland and White Fox neighborhoods are within about a mile.

2 Families Oil has earned a 4.90 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting the reputation its family-run operation has built across its service area. For drivers in Wilson in need of a quick oil change or a state inspection, that record is the clearest measure of what the shop delivers.
