Godfrey Tree Service has been locally owned and operated since 1970 and is a third-generation, fully insured family business that has served Iredell County and surrounding communities for more than 50 years. Its crew works with bucket trucks, skid steers, chainsaws, and climbing gear to reach tall, tight, or delicate removals, and it also offers bucket truck services, skid steer work for site cleanup and brush clearing, and climbing services for tight spaces. Trimming work includes selective trimming, crown reduction, thinning of dense canopies for light and air flow, and clearing limbs away from structures and utilities, along with seasonal maintenance plans. Stump grinders reduce stumps to mulch, typically 6 to 12 inches below grade, with backfilling available on request. Deadwood removal targets brittle or decaying limbs that can break off or invite disease and pests. The company has responded to storm damage from Hurricane Hugo, Hurricane Helene, and dozens of thunder and ice storms, and it is available 24/7 during major storms. Free estimates are offered, and Josh Godfrey and Will Godfrey can be reached directly for consultations. Service extends across the Statesville area and neighboring towns such as Troutman and Harmony.
