Busse's Lock Service

Busse's Lock Service is a locksmith in Raleigh, NC. Founded in 1982 by the Busse family on a back porch, the business has grown into a Raleigh operation with a retail shop and three mobile units, serving Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Garner, Durham, Apex, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Fuquay-Varina, Zebulon, Wendell, the Research Triangle Park, and surrounding communities. The shop holds a 4.6 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, and it is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a technician on call 24/7 for emergencies.

The company carries NC Locksmith License #0003 and employs eight licensed locksmiths whose combined experience exceeds 120 years. Members of the Busse family have taught classes within the locksmith trade and have served on both the NC Locksmith Licensing Board and the board of the NC Locksmith's Association. Services cover residential, commercial, and industrial work, including lock repair and installation, rekeying from a single door to master keying an entire office building, electronic access control with card, fob, or keypad entry, safe opening and repair, key duplication for home, auto, and business, and repair or replacement keys for office and antique furniture. Automotive lock service is offered only at the retail shop. The technicians handle a wide range of hardware, from antiques to modern electronic locks, and will take on unusual lock problems that other shops turn away.

The retail shop sits on New Hope Church Road, about two-tenths of a mile from Atlantic Avenue and roughly the same distance from Raleigh Institute of Biblical Studies, with Oakview and Brentwood Village Apartments within about a third to half a mile. Marsh Creek runs nearby, about four-tenths of a mile away.

With more than four decades of continuous operation in Raleigh and the largest direct locksmith team in the area by staffing and tenure, Busse's Lock Service brings a depth of trade knowledge and licensing that few other Triangle-area locksmiths can match.
