Lumina Gem of Murraysville

Lumina Gem of Murraysville is a jewelry store in Murraysville, North Carolina. It carries jewelry lines ranging from nationally recognized brands to locally made pieces, and serves customers looking for trendy or timeless jewelry, diamonds and engagement rings. The store also handles watch and jewelry repair, and offers a consignment service for clients who want to sell jewelry they no longer wear. Lumina Gem holds a rating of 4.90 based on 1,119 reviews.

The team at Lumina Gem has more than 100 years of combined experience in the jewelry business. Brad Bass founded the store in 2009, working out of an office in Lumina Station with a small shop setup in his garage. In 2010 he partnered with Jeannie Bethel to locate Lumina Gem within Home Again, and both businesses shared one space until they outgrew it. At the end of 2019, Lumina Gem and Home Again began to need more room, and in 2020 Lumina Gem moved next door into its own storefront. The additional space allowed the store to bring in new local jewelry designers and pre-owned designer handbags. Since then it has grown into a full service jewelry store specializing in all aspects of the jewelry business.

The store's approach is deliberately informal: it aims to make shopping non-intimidating, friendly and low-pressure, and treats customers as friends and family. Its inventory is built to suit both cost-conscious shoppers and those seeking the finest pieces. Store hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and it is closed Sunday and Monday.

Lumina Gem's standing rests on a strong local reputation reflected in consistently high customer ratings, and on an established track record built across a large base of customer reviews. For Murraysville and the surrounding area, that combination of a century of combined jewelry experience and a low-pressure, welcoming store makes Lumina Gem a jewelry store where both first-time buyers and longtime collectors can find something.
