Raccoon Holler Campground

Raccoon Holler Campground is a campground in Jefferson, NC. It is a family-oriented RV park and camping community situated on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The facility accommodates all types of camping, ranging from large Big Rigs to tent sites. Guests can choose between overnight stays or seasonal camping. The campground is located just outside of Glendale Springs in Ashe County, where the temperatures are cool and the views are scenic. Pets are welcome, though specific restrictions apply to aggressive breeds and barking dogs, and all animals must be leashed and accompanied by an adult when outside the campsite. Holiday reservations require full payment at the time of booking with no refunds.

The campground sits on Raccoon Hollow Rd. It is located very close to Bear Creek, which is just a short distance away. The Blue Ridge Parkway runs about a third of a mile from the site. Stanley Branch is another nearby water feature, situated about four-tenths of a mile away. The United States Post Office and the Glendale Springs VFD Station 16 are both about a mile from the campground.
