Continuum Tattoo

Continuum Art is a tattoo shop and creative studio in Hendersonville, NC, operating under the broader Continuum Art Collective banner in downtown Hendersonville. It provides tattoo and piercing services, open studio space, gallery exhibitions, and an event venue, with a roster of artists dedicated to helping clients realize their tattoo goals. The studio also hosts art classes, continuing education seminars for artists including tattoo artists, and a monthly Figure Drawing Salon and Draw from Life Class held on the last Sunday of each month. In addition to scheduled classes and critiques, the collective offers commission work and creative support for projects brought in by the community. Continuum holds a rating of 4.80 from customers who have reviewed it.

The collective occupies over 1,200 square feet of space, with a grand hall that accommodates a range of events such as punk rock flea markets, weddings, and dance and art classes. Its gallery is open to the public and hosts a daily rotating still life for anyone to draw from during open hours, along with portfolio critiques, artist seminars, demonstrations, and art markets. The studio spaces can accommodate most media and offer optional monthly critiques and classes. The mission at Continuum centers on advancing the culture and atmosphere of tattooing through humility, close interaction among a diverse group of artists, and a commitment to preserving and expanding the traditions of both art and tattooing. The business website and materials trace a project called Supply & Flow, chronicling the studio's journey through that work.

The studio sits on 1st Avenue East, just off North King Street and a short distance south of South King Street. It is within the Historical Downtown district, near the Dixie Highway Monument, the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, and the Henderson County Courthouse about two tenths of a mile away. Visitors are asked to book an appointment, event, or class to access the studios beyond the gallery.

Continuum is known locally as a tattoo studio that pairs its artists' work with gallery programming, classes, and community events under one roof in downtown Hendersonville.
