Danz Hands

Danz Hands is a handyman business in Durham, NC, focused on woodworking and remodeling. The business takes on remodeling, carpentry, furniture assembly and repair, mounting, and installation, along with cabinetry, decks, doors, and other larger custom projects. State licensing limits the work to exclude major plumbing, electrical, and HVAC jobs, but nearly everything else is within scope. Danz Hands lives in and focuses on Durham, and will drive to nearby areas for the right project. The business holds a rating of 5.00 from the customers who have reviewed it.

The approach is straightforward: arrive on time, listen and ask questions, finish on time and on budget, honor quotes, and communicate throughout the project. Estimates are available on weekday mornings and can typically be scheduled within a week. Each estimate includes a start timeframe and a total project time, and estimates are given on site rather than over the phone so the project can be talked through in person. Smaller tasks can sometimes be scheduled during the estimate itself, while larger projects may be booked further out, often two to three months in advance. Payment can be made by check, credit card, or PayPal, and invoices are available on request.

The portfolio covers full room remodels that can involve pulling flooring down to the subfloor, exposing framing, replacing drywall, and adding insulation, followed by fixtures, painting, and finishing touches. It also includes basic construction, framing, and structural work; hardwood floor refinishing, carpet upgrades, and floating bamboo floor installation; and building new decks, renewing old ones, or refreshing existing decks with a new coat of stain. Custom work ranges from cabinets and furniture to bat houses, and furniture assembly covers bookshelves, couches, cabinets, shelving, and hanging a TV above a mantle.

Danz Hands has built a following in Durham through remodeling and carpentry work, reflected in a 5.00 rating from customers who have reviewed the business.
