Neoteric Brewing

Neoteric Brewing is a brewery in Cornelius, NC, located at 14220 Oakhill Park Ln. The facility features a taproom exceeding 2,200 square feet, an event space, and outdoor seating. The brewery produces a wide variety of beer styles using a 7BBL main brewing system and a smaller pilot system for experimenting with new recipes. The taproom is family-friendly and provides board and card games for guests to borrow. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are permitted in the taproom and on the patio, but are not allowed in the brewhouse.

The business is owned and operated by head brewer Mike Tessari and his wife Alex. Mike began brewing in 2013 as a hobby to relieve stress while serving as Assistant Chief of the former North Mecklenburg Rescue Squad in Huntersville. He met Alex, a genetic counselor at Novant, in 2017, and the couple opened the brewery without outside investors. Alex joined Mike’s passion for craft beer and became interested in the science behind the art of brewing. The couple is hands-on and looks forward to meeting the community.

Operating hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 to 9 PM. The taproom is open from 12 to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday, and from 12 to 9 PM on Sunday. Customers can reach the brewery by phone at 980-616-2328 or via email at [email protected].
