Wake Remodeling

Wake Remodeling is a Kitchen Remodeler in Apex, NC. The design-build firm serves homeowners across the Raleigh Triangle, including Apex, Cary, Raleigh, Holly Springs, and Wake County. It offers kitchen, bathroom, basement, attic, and whole-home remodeling, as well as home additions. Operating since 2008, the company has completed more than 400 projects.

Founded by Luke Dobbins, the firm employs an in-house designer, production managers, and project managers who guide clients from initial consultation through construction. The team uses a five-step design-build process known as the Wake Way, which emphasizes clear communication and careful planning. Clients work with a single accountable team under one fixed-price contract that covers design, materials, labor, and project management. The process includes detailed renderings to visualize the space, material selection, and proactive scheduling. Communication is maintained through Buildertrend, group messaging, and in-person site visits. During construction, the team protects unremodeled areas with dust barriers and floor coverings, performs daily cleanup, and provides regular updates through a project management portal. The work is backed by a 36-month workmanship warranty.

Typical timelines range from eight to ten weeks for bathroom remodels and ten to twelve weeks for full kitchen remodels, with larger whole-home projects or additions taking several months. Services include custom kitchen layouts with optimized storage, bathroom renovations with features like radiant heat and barrier-free entries, and cohesive home additions that coordinate rooflines and finishes with the existing structure. Many projects come from referrals and previous clients. Wake Remodeling has been recognized as Best General Contractor and Remodeler of the Year.

The 4.90 rating reflects the confidence homeowners place in the firm’s craftsmanship and communication. The consistent praise for the team’s attention to detail and reliability establishes Wake Remodeling as a trusted local remodeler.
