The studio has been serving the Mid-South region for over 26 years and, by its own account, is known for housing some of the most artistically passionate tattoo artists in the area. Body piercing services are led by Carl, the head piercer with 31 years of experience who trained and worked with piercers throughout the United States. Carl specializes in all types of body piercings, from simple ear piercings and children's ears to helix, navels, tongues, eyebrows, and advanced ear piercings including the daith, rook, conch, and tragus. Mike, who has been piercing for 23 years after apprenticing under Carl in 1997, also performs piercings at the studio. All piercing work is carried out in a professional, sterile environment.

The shop's location on Millbranch Rd places it within reach of the broader DeSoto County area, where it has built its reputation among customers over more than two and a half decades.

With over 26 years of continuous service in the Mid-South and a deep bench of veteran artists and piercers, Illusion Ink of Olive Branch stands as one of the longest-tenured tattoo and piercing studios serving the Olive Branch and Southaven area.
