Desoto Kennels of Olive Branch

Desoto Kennels of Olive Branch is a pet boarding facility in Olive Branch, MS, located at 1325 Lee Rd. The kennel offers dog boarding services in DeSoto County, Mississippi, and has been in operation since 2008. Owners Jacob and Nicole Gereaux live on the property and provide personal attention to each dog in their care. The facility holds a rating of 4.90 based on customer reviews.

The kennel features twelve climate-controlled rooms, each with its own outdoor run and secure gated access to shaded play yards. Most dogs are allowed off-leash during playtime. Inside each room, calming music or nature sounds can be played to help dogs relax. The property includes a two-acre open yard where dogs can exercise, along with a sandbox and a wading pool. Beyond standard play, the staff engages dogs with games of ball, Frisbee, and tug of war, as well as supervised social time with other canine guests.

First-time guests are required to schedule a visit with their dog and provide vaccination records before boarding. This pre-boarding visit allows the staff to observe how the dog interacts with other dogs in the playgrounds and gives owners a chance to tour the facility. Repeat customers frequently report that their dogs recognize the kennel and become excited upon returning. Reservation requests are typically confirmed the same day via email.

DeSoto Kennels operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with limited weekend hours for drop-off and pick-up, and is available by appointment. The kennel can be reached at 662-838-7118.

Since 2008, Jacob and Nicole Gereaux have built a hands-on dog boarding operation in DeSoto County where the owners live on-site and personally care for each guest.
