She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Mississippi, graduating summa cum laude, before going on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in Jackson in 2014. She returned to Pascagoula to practice in the same office where she had been a lifelong patient. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association, the Fifth District Dental Society, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics as a Platinum Provider, the American Association for Women Dentists, the Rotary Club of Pascagoula, the Mississippi Dental Association Board of Trustees, and the Junior Auxiliary of Pascagoula-Moss Point as a Life Member.

Supporting Dr. Taylor are dental assistants Lana Daffin and Kaleigh Eaker. A native and resident of the area, Lana is a graduate of East Central High School, holds an associate's degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and is a graduate of the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy. Kaleigh, a Grand Bay native and graduate of Alma Bryant High School, is also part of the dental assisting team.
