Academy of Kung Fu

Academy of Kung Fu is a Martial Arts School in Jackson, MS, located on Sunnycrest Dr. The school teaches Chinese Kung Fu to students starting at age five, with separate programs for children, teens, and adults. Owner and head instructor Sifu Trey Crake holds a 9th Degree Black Belt and is the United States Director of the International Chinese Boxing Association, affiliations through the World Lung Shou Pai Association and the Lung Shou Pai Kung Fu Federation. The academy has served the Jackson metro area for over 30 years.

Sarah Guillory serves as Program Director alongside Sifu Trey Crake. The staff includes office administrator Princess Hill, Little Ninjas instructors Eden Huggart, Andy Leatherman, and Wyatt Stoker, and Kung Fu Kids and adult instructors Drake Dockery, Tre Thigpen, Kirk Lomax, and Sean McNeal. Classes run at night to accommodate instructors who hold day jobs, with a free trial program offered through the studio at 150 Sunnycrest Dr in nearby Ridgeland.

The school focuses on more than fighting technique, working with students on accountability, hard work, perseverance, citizenship, discipline, and personal growth. Parents in Madison and Ridgeland have described gains in self-confidence, fitness, and friendships among the children who train there. Birthday party hosting is also part of what the academy offers.

With a perfect 5.00 rating, Academy of Kung Fu has earned the feedback of the families and adults who train there. Three decades of instruction in the Jackson metro area reflect a school built around family, discipline, and a long-standing commitment to Chinese Kung Fu.
