The program originated from educator Dot McClendon, who dedicated more than fifty-five years to teaching before developing her unique review method. She first applied her strategies to help Morgan Walker, daughter of co-founder and CEO Sha Walker, dramatically improve her ACT score after six previous attempts using other methods. Dot’s approach, which has earned her induction into the MEC STAR Teacher Hall of Fame and recognition as a STAR Teacher 19 times, combines brief classroom reviews of tested content with strategies and timed practices. This methodology has since expanded to include WorkKeys Job Skills assessments and End-of-Course exams, delivered to classrooms in hundreds of high schools across seven states.

Student testimonials highlight substantial gains, with users reporting increases of 8 to 15 points in composite and subject scores. The platform allows students to rewatch lessons, access rationales for every question, and receive time-management tips based on their actual test pace. The combination of expert instruction, immediate feedback, and flexible study options supports students in managing test anxiety and improving focus.

The business maintains a 5.00 rating from its customers, reflecting the strong results and satisfaction reported by users of its ACT and WorkKeys programs.
