The team at St. Louis Tree Pros is made up of ISA-certified arborists and forestry specialists who approach tree care with a focus on long-term tree health rather than unnecessary removals. For every tree removed, the company plants new ones to sustain St. Louis's urban canopy. Services span tree care and maintenance, tree removal when a tree poses a safety risk, emergency tree service and storm cleanup, arbor consulting with tree risk assessment, and tree planting with a specialization in native species. Owner Gabe Waterhouse holds a B.S. in Forest Resource Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a B.A. in Business Administration from Lindenwood University, and is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, a Licensed Pesticide Applicator, and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. Before founding the company, he worked as a botanist in the Ozark region and gained experience with a local tree service. Most employees hold bachelor's or associate's degrees in Forestry and Horticulture, and the company encourages and reimburses tuition for staff to attend the horticulture program at St. Louis Community College. Planting work emphasizes proper techniques that help trees establish strong roots and thrive.

The office sits on Watson Industrial Park, about 0.1 miles from Watson Road and roughly 0.2 miles from The UPS Store, 0.4 miles from Queen of the Holy Rosary school, and within half a mile of Kirkwood Creek, Mulberry Creek, and Whitecliff Quarry.
