Kim and Stephen Lindwedel moved from the St. Louis area in 1995 to settle in the Ozarks on Table Rock Lake just outside of Branson, Missouri, bringing their three daughters with them. Steve’s chemistry background and love for the farm inspired the idea of a winery, but after determining that starting a vineyard required too much time and finance, he researched the industry and decided to establish a winery instead. After several trips to Missouri’s wine country in the fall of 2005 and spring of 2006, the family began looking for property in the Branson area. In March 2007, they purchased a house and 15 acres located just west of Branson. The land offers views of the rolling hills of the Ozarks, the west end of Highway 76, and the Shepherd of the Hills Inspiration Tower. Lindwedel Winery opened its doors in November 2007. The winery features wines produced in the state of Missouri, including crafted varietals grown in Missouri as well as other parts of the United States.

The winery provides a relaxed atmosphere for visitors and residents of Branson to enjoy handcrafted wines with friends and family. They do not take reservations at the State Hwy 265 location.
