Family 1st Pawn

Family 1st Pawn is a pawn shop in Republic, Missouri, serving the greater Springfield metropolitan area. The store makes loans against items of value and accepts gold, diamonds, jewelry, silver, electronics, guns, hand tools, power tools, tool sets, instruments, sporting goods, collectibles, luxury items, gaming equipment, vehicles, and ATVs, and invites customers to ask about anything whose value is uncertain. It also offers access to natural and lab grown diamonds in any shape, size, color, or grade. The shop holds a rating of 4.50 from customer reviews.

Family 1st Pawn describes itself as family-owned and community-oriented, and as a spacious, safe and secure alternative to the dimly lit, smoke-filled pawnshop. Its stated approach to lending is to advance an amount that helps the customer while still keeping the item affordable to reclaim. Customers with a FastPawn account can view due dates and balances, make interest payments, pay on layaways online, and add wanted items. The shop also answers common questions about the difference between pawning and selling, which route brings the most money, how long a transaction takes, what paperwork to bring, and whether a customer can hold more than one loan at a time.

The store sits on US-60, about a mile from the Springfield Greene County Library and roughly 1.2 miles from East Elm Street. New School Park and Republic Middle School are each about 1.4 miles away, and Republic Fire Dept Station 1 and the United States Post Office are both about 1.5 miles from the shop.

Family 1st Pawn is family-owned and community-oriented, and its 4.50 rating reflects positive feedback from the customers who have reviewed it. For Republic and the surrounding Springfield area, it pairs pawn loans on a broad range of valuables with a FastPawn account that lets customers track due dates, balances, and layaway payments.
