Latchkey Pets

Latchkey Pets is a pet boarding and pet sitting service in Lees Summit, MO. The business provides daytime dog walking and vacation pet sitting for families across the Greater Kansas City metro. Daytime dog walking suits dogs whose owners work long hours, puppies or elderly dogs who cannot hold it all day, and dogs needing more exercise than their owners can provide. Visits include a walk or backyard playtime, a potty break, a water check, and a treat. Vacation pet sitting is for owners who prefer not to board their pets, keeping animals at home with their own toys, food, and surroundings, typically with three to five visits a day and at least one walk daily. Overnight visits run from 6PM to 7AM. Rates include a free initial consultation of 30 to 60 minutes, a 30-minute regular visit, a 45-minute extended visit, and a 60-minute VIP visit. Visiting hours run 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM every day, with office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The team is insured and bonded, and the business holds memberships in Pet Sitters Associates and Pet Sitters International. Service areas include Oak Grove, Grain Valley, Lake Lotawana, Lone Jack, Independence, Lee's Summit, Greenwood, Raymore, Peculiar, Belton, Grandview, South Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, and Leawood. Latchkey Pets holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it.

The business sits on SW Market St, steps from the Lees Summit Post Office and about a tenth of a mile from the Lee's Summit History Museum, Southwest 3rd Street, the Lee's Summit train station, Southwest Jefferson Street, and William B. Howard Station Park.

Open communication shapes how the team works: clients receive a text at each visit, and owners away on trips get a text or call with updates on their pets. The business describes relationships as the cornerstone of its work, built with both its four-legged clients and their owners, and it aims to support busy families so they can focus on other priorities.
