Dr. Caroline Mendus, a Kansas City native, graduated with honors from Creighton University. Together the doctors perform visual field testing and retinal photography, prescribe medications for conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts, and fit contacts for astigmatism, colored contacts, specialty gas permeable, scleral, and medically necessary lenses. Referrals to trusted ophthalmologists in the area are available when needed.

The office sits on Broadway Boulevard in the Westport neighborhood of Kansas City, about a tenth of a mile from the Heartland Men's Chorus, the Kansas City Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fountain, Dr. Jeremiah Cameron Park, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, with Mill Creek Parkway a short distance south.
