Generator Studio

Generator Studio is a full-service architecture and interior design firm in Kansas City, MO. The firm specializes in high-end residential, hospitality, not-for-profit, corporate office and sports venue projects. Its hospitality-driven design work is led by Generator Partner and Director of Interior Design Christina Franklin, who brings more than a decade of experience designing boutique hotels, restaurants, bars and hotel amenity spaces for dozens of brands. Founding Partners Tom Proebstle and Mike Kress have worked in sports and entertainment design since the mid-1990s, and the firm's technical and creative experts design facilities for teams across all major North American sports leagues. The studio holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it.

Generator Studio approaches sports and entertainment work by first understanding an organization's challenges, market, brand essence and revenue goals, producing differentiated design with branding rooted in the architecture itself. For nonprofit clients, the firm creates built solutions that help organizations improve how they connect with and serve their communities. Residential work draws on clients' memories of hotels, retreats and destinations, translating them into homes shaped around how people move, gather and unwind, whether a ground-up build or a renovation. The firm's culture centers on collaboration, and its team includes project managers, architects, interior designers, a brand storyteller, a graphic designer and a digital design and technical lead.

The studio sits on Baltimore Ave, about 0.1 miles from Main Street and Truman Road South Drive. The Kauffman Center for Performing Arts is roughly 0.2 miles away, as are the recordBar, the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission and the Power & Light District.

Generator Studio's 5.00 rating reflects the experiences of the clients who have reviewed it, and its range across hospitality, residential, nonprofit, workplace and sports venue design keeps it working throughout Kansas City.
