The original Vandalia location thrived on its proximity to the train, which made it possible to offer the lowest prices on name-brand furniture, and drew buyers from as far away as St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbia, Jefferson City, Lake of the Ozarks, and downstate Illinois. The Wright family became only the third owners of Waters Furniture, and in 2019, they relocated the store to Hannibal, where it merged with Wright Furniture into a newly remodeled showroom. The Hannibal showroom carries the same name-brand furniture and the same Lowest Price Promise that defined the original location, and customers can request a price quote by phone or through an online form.
