Shades Of Sherwood

Shades Of Sherwood is a campground in Zumbrota, MN, situated along the Zumbro River on 77 acres of woods, rivers, and creeks. The property offers over 150 campsites and cabins and serves families and seasonal campers looking for a riverfront outdoor stay in southeastern Minnesota. Visitors can choose from fully furnished cabins, primitive standard sites located along the river, electric and water sites with 30amp or 50amp hookups, and premium sites in the most sought-after locations. Each site comes with a fire ring and picnic table, and the cabins include a fully furnished kitchen, bathroom, living room TV with Direct TV, a futon, and two double beds with two bunks. The campground also runs a calendar of themed weekend events throughout the season, including a Neon Glow Party, an Irish Weekend, a Halloween Weekend, a Labor Day Weekend with entertainment and a band, and a Pirates and Mermaids weekend with mermaid makeovers and a treasure hunt.

A special weekly rate lets guests stay Sunday through Thursday and get three nights for the price of two, with restrictions and holiday exclusions. The property is reached from Sherwood Trail, about a third of a mile from the North Fork Zumbro River, roughly 1.2 miles from Highway 60 Boulevard, about 2.1 miles from the Woodbury Wildlife Management Area, 2.3 miles from the Minneola Town Hall, 2.7 miles from State Highway 60, and approximately 3 miles from the Wanamingo City Pool.
