yum! Kitchen and Bakery of Woodbury

yum! Kitchen and Bakery of Woodbury is a coffee shop in Woodbury, MN, part of a family-owned bakery and kitchen serving the Twin Cities metro. The Woodbury location operates daily from 8am to 8pm and shares a made-from-scratch menu with three sister locations in Minnetonka, St. Louis Park, and St. Paul. The business caters to walk-in diners, takeout customers, and event hosts, offering seasonal breakfast, lunch, and dinner items alongside custom wedding cakes. Catering orders include sandwich platters, box lunches, salads, and baked goods available for pickup with 24 hours' notice. The Woodbury shop holds a rating of 4.50 across 365 reviews.

The menu at yum! is built around seasonal cooking, with lunch and dinner service running from 11am to 8pm. Standout items include a wedge starter with bacon and tomato, ice cold gazpacho, coconut curry with chicken, gumbo with shrimp and andouille sausage, the yum! blueberry salad with goat gouda and candied almonds, Chinese chicken salad with sesame dressing, and lemon cream pasta topped with crispy chicken. Bakery offerings feature the s'more brownie, angel food, dirt cupcake in a jar, and blueberry cream cheese. The business has been led since 2005 by Patti and Robbie Soskin and a dedicated team, with Margaret serving as location leader at the Woodbury shop. Wedding cakes are a featured specialty, and the four locations all offer easy parking.

The Woodbury shop sits at 8340 City Centre Drive, just off Valley Creek Road about 0.1 miles away and a similar distance from Radio Drive. Woodbury City Hall, the Woodbury Veterans Memorial, and the Woodbury Public Safety Memorial are all within a short walk, each roughly 0.1 to 0.2 miles from the front door.

A solid reputation built on more than 360 customer reviews reflects the kind of repeat business that a family operation earns over nearly two decades. The Soskin team's commitment to made-from-scratch seasonal cooking, available from breakfast through dinner every day, makes this Woodbury kitchen a steady presence in the east metro food scene.
