Mainstream Firearms & Marine

Mainstream Firearms & Marine is a pawn shop in Winona, Minnesota. The store carries more than 1,000 new and used firearms and serves as the area's only dealer of Go-Devil boats, motors, and accessories. It also stocks a full line of shooting and reloading supplies and offers gunsmithing and appraisal services, along with short-term, collateral-based pawn loans. Firearms are sold in-store and online, and the shop handles gun transfers for a fee. It holds a rating of 4.20 based on customer reviews.

The business began in 1989 as a family owned and operated pawn shop. As its firearms inventory grew, it became a destination for firearms and ammunition, and in 1995 it became the Midwest dealer for Go-Devil boats and motors. Appraisal services are requested throughout southeast Minnesota. The staff are hunters, competitive shooters, and outdoorsmen who use the area's waterways and hunting lands and apply that experience to helping customers choose firearms or Go-Devil boats, motors, and accessories. The shop supports local sportsmen groups and shooting sports, volunteering gun expertise for fundraisers and banquets that raise money through gun raffles.

Mainstream Firearms & Marine sits on Lafayette St, about a tenth of a mile from Winona City Hall and roughly two-tenths of a mile from Main Street, the Winona Post Office, and Levee Park. The Winona Arts Center and the Winona County Historical Society Armory Museum are each about three-tenths of a mile away.

The shop has built a following of return customers who make it their first stop for guns, ammunition, and Go-Devil boating supplies, a reputation reflected in its positive customer rating. For Winona shooters and boaters, it keeps firearms, reloading supplies, gunsmithing, and Go-Devil sales and service in one place.
