The trainer behind K9University Dog Training, Allison Woldstad, has dedicated her work to helping dogs and their owners build healthier, more connected lives through communication, structure, understanding, and real-world training. Her interest in dog behavior began at age 16, when she started working at a dog kennel; over eight years there she became focused on behavior, psychology, communication, and why dogs do what they do. A rescue dog with severe dog aggression came through the kennel without a home, and she took him in to help him find balance and stability, an experience that led her to pursue dog training professionally. In 2016 she attended The National K9 School for Dog Trainers in Ohio, where she became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She has continued this work for more than 10 years. K9University Dog Training is located at 18021 Langford Blvd in Shakopee.
