He spent five years working alongside an Executive Chef before enrolling in culinary school in St. Paul, Minnesota. While attending school, he worked at the iconic Grand Avenue D’Amico & Sons and The Happy Gnome in St. Paul. After graduating, he spent a decade honing his craft in fine-dining kitchens throughout the Twin Cities and Chicago, including The Hotel Minneapolis-Restaurant Max, Borough & Parlor, The Normandy Hotel & Kitchen, The Como Zoo, and Common Roots Catering.

He returned to Rochester to serve as an Executive Chef at The Mayo Clinic at Saint Mary’s Hospital, where he managed operations in the VIP Francis 7 suites. After leaving the Mayo Clinic in 2018, he helped open Le Petite Cafe, a high-end European bistro. He also worked in the kitchens of The Rochester Golf and Country Club and Pescara. With experience from the Twin Cities, Chicago, and Rochester food scenes, he decided to pursue working as a private chef for multiple high-end families.
