Schram Vineyards is a 32-acre winery, brewery, and restaurant in Waconia, Minnesota, where handcrafted wine, craft beer, and elevated dining experiences come together in one destination. Just outside the Twin Cities, the vineyard overlooks Reitz Lake, with 10 acres of cold-hardy grapes grown and harvested on-site. Guests can enjoy wine tastings, flights, craft cocktails, and food from the kitchen, including wine-pairing dishes and brick-oven pizzas. The property features the Vineyard Lodge, the original building where ordering is done counter service at the main bar with food pickup at the pavilion window. Menu items include charcuterie boards, cheese plates, chips with pico and poblano queso, pretzel bites with beer cheese, and brick-oven pizzas such as Margherita, Pepperoni, Fig N' Pig, Sweet Heat Brisket, Pit Boss Supreme, and Pesto Burrata. Schram Vineyards started with a simple idea when Aaron and Ashley met in 2006. They found the property in Waconia in 2008 while working corporate jobs. Over the next five years, they planted thousands of vines, built the winery, and raised their young family. In 2013, Schram Vineyards opened to the public. In 2014, it became the first singly owned and operated winery and brewery in Minnesota.
