Founded in 2020, R2 Studios Architecture focuses exclusively on assisted living architecture, having completed more than 200 successful facilities in Minnesota since shifting its focus to RALF projects in August of 2023. The firm’s approach begins with an initial feasibility assessment and on-site review to evaluate zoning, building codes, and accessibility. They create complete sets of architectural plans tailored to Minnesota Statutes 144G, including life safety, ADA, and fire code requirements. The team manages the submission of these documents to the Minnesota Department of Health, Department of Labor and Industry, State Assisted Living Council, and local authorities to secure licensing approvals.

The practice offers additional digital and visualization services, such as 3D renderings and virtual reality walkthroughs, to help clients visualize projects before construction. They also provide contractor access and assistance with application processing to streamline the licensing journey. Anna brings a deep understanding of how the built environment shapes care quality, while Zach contributes an analytical perspective grounded in his pre-medicine background and healthcare systems knowledge. The firm is licensed in Minnesota, Georgia, and New Jersey, allowing them to support providers in meeting regulatory standards with precision.

The business maintains a 5.00 rating from its customers, reflecting the confidence facility owners place in its specialized expertise. This high standing underscores the firm’s reputation for delivering faster approvals and helping clients avoid costly revisions and delays.
