Kira is the founder and owner of Zestful Design. Her specialties include decluttering, occupied staging, organizing, and interior design, and she treats home organization and interior design as intertwined, holding that an organized pantry can be as striking as a redesigned living room. Projects begin with decluttering, and for clients who are moving, Kira prepares homes to list by decluttering, packing, updating, project management, and staging. She offers staging consultations with a detailed list of recommendations and will complete the entire list for the client. Her focus is on people who live in their homes throughout the sales process, and she works with clients through downsizing, divorces, excess clutter, the loss of a loved one, and moves out of homes lived in for decades. Before-and-after transformations are shared on the company's social media.

Kira has been profiled in Midwest Home, Maple Grove Magazine, and Osseo Maple Grove Press, and has written articles on home organizing, decluttering, staging, and design for Maple Grove Magazine, Plymouth Magazine, Lake Minnetonka Magazine, UMBRA, and Minnesota Parent Magazine. She has also been featured on multiple podcasts, and Zestful Design has been voted Minnesota's Best Interior Design Firm.

The business sits on Excelsior Boulevard, about half a mile from Interlachen Park and Creekside Park, and roughly the same distance from Minnehaha Creek and the Blake Road station.

Clients describe Kira handling a client's accumulation of more than 20 years with respectful care and efficiency, and one notes that she helped declutter and stage a home for sale after a husband's passing. For Hopkins and the surrounding west metro, that combination of design skill and patient, hands-on decluttering is what the work is built on.
