Burgmeier Consulting Inc

Burgmeier Consulting Inc is a business consultant and forensic collision reconstruction firm in Hastings, Minnesota. The firm gathers, preserves and analyzes evidence from motor vehicle collisions, work that includes collision scene documentation, vehicle inspection and event data recorder downloads. Its team is experienced in the analysis and reconstruction of collisions involving heavy trucks and commercial vehicles, and an experienced motorcyclist on staff handles motorcycle crash analysis. Roger Burgmeier founded the firm in 1990 and has over 35 years of experience as a collision reconstructionist, beginning with the Minnesota State Patrol and continuing in private practice. He is also a Crash Data Retrieval technician and CDR Analyst with over 20 years of passenger vehicle data imaging experience, and holds more than 25 years of motorcycle riding experience. For collision scene documentation the firm uses GNSS satellite mapping, 3D scanning and sUAS drone flight operations under FAA Part 107, selecting methods based on the crash scene location. GNSS forensic mapping measures roadway dimensions, elevation and roadway evidence, and mapping files can be imported into CAD programs for further analysis. Drone flights allow long scenes to be completed quickly. The firm downloads event data recorders and documents post-crash vehicle condition, including air bag control module data, and performs lamp analysis to determine the on/off status of lights. On commercial vehicle inspections it measures brake stroke of air brake systems, documents truck damage, and downloads engine control modules, anti-lock brake modules and other system modules, having coordinated hundreds of these inspections. The firm is based on 113th St S in Hastings, about half a mile from Saint Croix Trail South and roughly a mile from the Cedar-St. Croix neighborhood and Group Camp. Carpenter Nature Center and St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park are each about 1.6 miles away, and Andrea Park is about 1.7 miles away. Burgmeier Consulting Inc holds a rating of 5.00 from the customers who have reviewed it.
