The shop was founded by Sue Tindal, who had spent more than eight years working with silk flowers out of her home before taking the leap to open a storefront. After the previous local florist closed its doors in June 2019, her husband encouraged her to open one of her own, and after roughly six months of preparation Isanti Floral Inc opened in mid-December 2019. Sue runs the business personally, working directly with customers on their floral needs for everyday occasions and for funeral tributes coordinated with area funeral homes including Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home and Strike Life Tributes.

A 4.6 rating across 118 reviews reflects the kind of consistent, positive experience customers in Isanti have come to expect from a local florist that handles every order with the same personal attention Sue brought to her early silk work at home. For residents of East Bethel and the surrounding communities, the shop remains a straightforward, locally owned option for fresh flowers and arrangements delivered the same day.
