Accra Homecare - Bemidji is a Home Health Care provider in Bemidji, MN. The agency offers three primary categories of support. Personal Care Choice (PCA) services assist children and adults with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, transfers, mobility, positioning, and toileting, along with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation for adults. These services are available in the home and community for individuals with autism, behavioral diagnoses, disabilities, chronic disease, medically complex diagnoses, mental illness, or senior care needs. Financial Management Services (FMS) enable clients to use self-directed services by helping them hire and employ caregivers under the Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS) or Consumer Support Grant (CSG) programs, and by purchasing other supports needed to continue living in the community. Additionally, Accra is a 245D licensed provider offering respite, homemaker, Individual Community Living Support (ICLS), Individual Home Supports (IHS) with and without training, and night supervision services. For each 245D service, clients select a trusted, qualified worker suited for their needs, while an assigned Accra Service Coordinator works with the client and county case manager to set up and administer the services. Accra has completed the revalidation process and is approved by the Department of Human Services, accepting new clients in all programs.

The office is located on Bemidji Avenue North, about a tenth of a mile from Kin market and Bemidji Community Education. It sits approximately two-tenths of a mile from Ralph Gracie Memorial Park and three-tenths of a mile from both the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex and Gitigaan Garden.
