Bed and Biscuits Up North of Apple Valley

Bed and Biscuits Up North of Apple Valley is a Pet Boarding business in Apple Valley, MN, located at 17457 Iceland Trail. The business specializes in boarding for smaller dogs weighing up to 40 pounds in the Lakeville, Minnesota area. It holds a rating of 5.00 based on customer reviews. Becky Miller established the business in 2018 to provide a safe and secure environment for pets. The owners have three dogs: Sophie, a Cavalier/Poodle; Bandit, a Pekingese/Poodle; and Tundra, a Cavalier/Lhasa Apso. They created the service after finding traditional boarding facilities uncomfortable for their shy dogs, particularly in cement environments where small dogs were separated. The property features a 6-foot fence allowing dogs to run in the backyard. In winter, the owners use a snowblower to make trails for smaller dogs to run. Inside the home, gates block stairways to the front entry to prevent dogs from exiting without adequate leash and harness restraints. A water fountain provides fresh water throughout the day. The business aims to keep schedules and habits similar to a pet’s daily routine. Holiday rates apply to specific dates including Easter Weekend, Memorial Weekend, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the period from December 23, 2025, through January 2, 2026. Payment is accepted via Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo. A full refund is available if canceled by 12:00 pm CST two days before the service begins. If canceled later than that, a 50% refund is available for the first 7 canceled calendar days from the cancellation request date. A 100% refund is available for any additional days. All refunds are subject to a 3% service fee. The business maintains a 5.00 rating from customers who have reviewed it, reflecting a positive reputation among local pet owners.
