The business opened Michigan's first in-home design and custom installation company in 1976, giving it the ability to deliver, set up, and install big screen TVs, home theater components, entertainment furniture, and seating, as well as design and install whole house audio, video, and smart home automation systems. A custom architectural design and building division was added shortly afterward, allowing the team to design and build custom furniture, entertainment areas, and dedicated home theaters. The staff includes factory-trained technicians who staff an in-home service department maintained since 1976, handling troubleshooting on all products the company sells. Extended warranties and long-term maintenance agreements are offered on many of the systems it installs. The design team, led by Rick, has been recognized and honored repeatedly for Excellence in Design by leading industry publications, forums, and manufacturers.

The office sits on Cameo Lake Court, with Cameo Lake about 0.1 miles away and Long Lake Road roughly 0.4 miles from the location.
