The chapel's staff guide families through funeral planning, beginning with the practical steps that follow a death and continuing through the larger decisions: burial or cremation, the choice of casket or urn, the location of a final resting place in a grave or mausoleum, or burial or scattering after cremation. Service types include visitations, also called viewings, calling hours, or wakes; funeral and memorial services held at the funeral home, a church, or a family's home; and graveside, chapel, or committal services at the cemetery. Immediate burial and green burial are also available.

Personalization is a central part of the services. Staff work with families to learn a loved one's life story and passions so that visitations and services reflect them, and they create life tribute videos that combine family photographs with cinematic introductions, chosen music, and professional effects, giving families a keepsake after the ceremony. A tribute wall lets guests share stories, photos, and videos, leave text comments, video or audio messages, or symbols, view obituary and service information, and order gifts and flowers. The chapel also offers stationery, memorialization videos, and merchandise including urns and personalized memorial products.

The chapel sits on East Chicago Road, about a tenth of a mile from Sturgis Foot and Ankle Clinic. Arden Park School is roughly two tenths of a mile away, and Trinity Lutheran School is about three tenths of a mile away. Pioneer Park and Shadowlawn Park are each around four tenths of a mile from the chapel.
