All of the wines are handmade, hand bottled, and produced in small batches, with roughly 10 reds, 10 whites, and 10 fruit wines on offer ranging from Merlot, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon through Moscato, Riesling, and The German Reserve to fruit varieties like Strawberry Watermelon, Raspberry Dragon Fruit, Blood Orange, and Pomegranate. The winery also keeps an on-site apiary of more than 15 beehives whose honey is used to make an organic, sulfite-free mead, and produces a small-batch organic rum and an organic handmade brandy, including a house-favorite Banana Brandy served hot on the elevated outdoor deck.

The winery sits on Arlington Road, roughly a mile and a quarter from Fred W. Moore Highway, about two and a quarter miles from Rattle Run, and around two and a half miles from Belle River, with Rattle Run Golf Course a little under three miles away.

The family-run nature of the business and its direct charitable mission of funding autism treatment for its own children and others in the community gives Belle River Winery a distinct identity among southeastern Michigan wineries, tying every glass poured and every pizza served in St. Clair Shores to a concrete local cause.
