Joseph Mosey Architecture, Inc.

Joseph Mosey Architecture, Inc. is an architect in Novi, Michigan, located at 108 N Center St. The firm designs custom homes and remodels, and its portfolio includes a Belgian farmhouse, a Lake Michigan beach house, a Walloon Lake classic cottage, a modern make over, and a White Lake Craftsman cottage. Joseph Mosey Architecture holds a rating of 5.00 from the customers who have reviewed it.

The practice is led by Principal Joseph Michael Mosey, who holds current architectural licenses in Michigan, Illinois, Georgia and Ohio, along with a Michigan Builder's License. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1991 with a Professional Bachelor Degree in Architecture. The team's background in building construction comes from 20 years of experience working with design-build firms, designing, drawing, managing, pricing and scheduling the construction of custom homes. That experience shapes a design process rooted in the realities of costs and value engineering, so that design, building and budget align. Joseph Mosey Architecture employs architects, project managers and draftsmen, each bringing skills and experience tailored to the needs of each client.

The firm maintains a second office in Elk Rapids at 613 Traverse Street. Clients describe a design process built on listening: reviewers note that Mosey captured their preferences and produced designs that met or exceeded expectations, in one case nailing a lake house design on the first draft after visiting a challenging site. Others describe close work with builders through construction and repeat projects, including a second commission for a new garage and carriage house. Reviews also highlight his skill at positioning a house to make the most of lake views and at working in a Frank Lloyd Wright style.

For homeowners in Novi and across Michigan planning a custom home or remodel, Joseph Mosey Architecture pairs licensed architectural design with hands-on construction knowledge.
