It holds a rating of 2.30.

The school is part of Courtesy Driving School, which has served Michigan families since 1970 and is family-owned and operated. Teen driver education covers Segment 1, with 24 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours behind the wheel, and 4 hours of driving observation, and Segment 2, which focuses on defensive driving techniques over 6 hours of classroom instruction. Driving lessons help permitted teens and adults build safe driving habits and on-road confidence. Road test prep lessons guide candidates through a simulation of the test and a preview of what to expect on test day. Other offerings include a Basic Driver Improvement Course and an Instructor Preparation Program. Instruction takes place in a fleet that primarily features newer Chevrolet Cruze and Trailblazer models, with the inventory being updated so that cars are either brand new or only a few years old.

The school sits on West 13 Mile Road, about 0.2 miles from the Madison Heights Public Library, the Madison Heights Police Department, and the Madison Heights Clerk's Office, and roughly 0.3 miles from the Walter P. Chrysler Freeway.

Three generations of Michiganders have earned their licenses through Courtesy Driving School, and the Madison Heights location brings that long-running driver education to teens and adults across the surrounding communities.
